A diverse and accomplished all-natural
athlete, 27 year old Justin Cowley has played a
number of sports including hockey, football,
baseball, soccer, lacrosse, and rugby. Natural
bodybuilding is something Justin discovered when he
began weight training in the hopes of playing
university-level football. Bodybuilding became his
passion. Justin's first contest was in 2001 at a
Canadian provincial-level event, where he competed
as a middleweight at 175 pounds. He did not make the
top five in that contest, but he didn't give up. A
year later he weighed 187 pounds, competed as a
light-heavyweight, and placed third -- qualifying
him for the national level. And in 2003 he competed
at the CBBF National World Qualifier at 193 pounds
and placed second in his class -- a significant
achievement for his first attempt at the national
level, and one that qualified him for the IFBB World
Championships. The Worlds would have to wait,
though. as Justin In Inhad to concentrate on
finishing his final year of chemical engineering at
McMaster University. In 2004 Justin competed in the
Canadian National World Qualifier and placed second
for the second year in a row. He was beaten by a
better competitor than the previous year though, and
he felt he made good improvements over his form in
2003.
We met Justin, however, competing as a fitness model
in Toronto, where he won First Place Advanced Male
Fitness Model at the FAME 2005 World Championships,
making Justin a WNSO Professional Fitness Model!
Shortly thereafter, Justin competed in and won the
Mr. CHIN contest.
He is currently 6' tall and weighs 197 lbs. of lean
muscle, with a 32" waist, 16.5" biceps,
45" chest and 27" thighs. Besides working
hard in his new job as a Chemical-Environmental
Engineer, Justin plans on adding some muscle for
next year's World Qualifier and also plans to
compete in the IFBB World Championships by the time
he is thirty, but first wants to win his class at
the World Qualifier. Justin is interested not only
in modeling opportunities, both print and video, but
