Shoaib Zahoor is a professional bodybuilder from
Pakistan. He is 27 years old, and lives in the city
of Lahore. He is 5'7" tall and weighs 175 lbs.
Shoaib was declared Mr. Punjab University in 2000.
He had also won the National Championships for three
consecutive years in 2000-2002, Mr. Pakistan in 2002
(the youngest ever) besides many other titles. In
2007 Shoaib won the NPC Michigan Bodybuilding
Championship in the Middleweight Class. He was
widely admired by the spectators and bodybuilding
fans in the United States and he felt it a great
honor that he had become the first Pakistani who
participated in the NPC bodybuilding show and
achieved such success gaining his NPC card and
qualifying to compete for his pro-card. Shoaib
traveled to Miami in 2008 to compete in the
Musclemania Universe Championships, where he
narrowly missed being a Lightweight Class Top 5
finalist due to water retention resulting from the
long 17,000 mile flight from Islabadad to Miami. We
met Shoaib in Miami and photographed him there,
along with his fellow countryman and bodybuilder
Ashfaq Butt. Both intend to compete further in U.S.
bodybuilding contests. Shoaib has qualifications in
training, sports medicine, bodybuilding equipment
